The Zaidy Lipskier Library, led by Rabbi Mendy and Tzipi Lipskier, opened its doors as a community lending library in the winter of 2020. The building’s library is dedicated in memory of a man with a passion for learning and a love of books. Rabbi Fitzy Lipskier, of blessed memory, father of Fountain Hills Chabad Rabbi Mendy Lipskier, passed away at the young age of 45 in a motor vehicle accident. A few years prior to his passing he had dedicated his time to opening and operating a Judaic children's library in his small town of Morristown, New Jersey.  He was a dedicated teacher at the Rabbinical College of America, a loving father of eight children, and a leader in his community.

The Zaidy Lipskier Library is being inaugurated to coincide with his 25th Yartzeit on Shvat 11, 5780. The extended family and friends supported and sponsored this project.

Our Mission

Zaidy Lipskier Library is designed as a space that is enjoyed and cherished by adults, teens and children on an ongoing basis. Our vision is to offer a Judaic library for all in which to study, read, relax, and do research. There are books in History, Jewish Law, Talmud, Kaballah, Philosophy, Cooking, Hebrew, Fiction, Prayer, and many more.  A special section with books geared to children and teens is housed in a cozy corner.  Many programs are being planned, such as Story time for children, summer reading program, lectures for adults, and Jewish Movie nights.
